    More Information

    Why are we doing this?

Given the current state of the world, we want Q+ youth to know that you are valued and valuable! This event is an opportunity for visibility in a creative and anonymous way. V&R wants to partner with Q+ youth to connect in a community of resilience in the face of adversity, bigotry, and ignorance.

    What are we looking for?

We are looking to hear directly from Q+ youth about their lives, experiences, identities, and stories and are seeking submissions of all artistic mediums. This includes paintings, poetry, carvings, drawings, photography, fiction, prose, sculpture, nonfiction, etc… Whatever you are creating, we want to see it!

    Who can submit?

We welcome Q+ youth, elementary through high school. And because we are focused on inclusion, ALL youth allies/advocates of the Q+ community are welcome. Let us hear your voices!

    How do I submit?

Once your piece is created, you can take a photo, record yourself (audio), make a copy, or share it with northca3@miamioh.edu. You will receive a response within 2-3 days, asking if you’d like your piece collected for “in-person” viewings by the community. Arrangements will be made to collect your work. If you don’t want your work collected-no stress! We can post it on our social media platforms for people to view.

Where might my art be seen?
